‘Release The Power’ is a youth-collaboration hip hop album inspired by the Writings of the Baha’i Faith and various concepts included in Book 5 of the Ruhi Institute (‘Releasing The Powers of Junior Youth’). The album features three inspiring youth: Brian aka Brenn; Ally aka Xandra Black; and Tony aka Reflectionz; as well as myself, Colby Jeffers.

🙏 Spiritual Inspiration 🙏

Love was definitely one of the spiritual qualities we explored most in depth throughout our study. In particular, our group was drawn to the concept of “universal love”, i.e., showing forth love to everyone in an unconditional and indiscriminating way. The quote below was the inspiring for the final track of the Release The Power album.

“The greatest gift of man is universal love – that magnet which renders existence eternal. It attracts realities and diffuses life with infinite joy. If this love penetrate the heart of man, all the forces of the universe will be realized in him…” –`Abdu’l-Bahá’ (Ruhi Institute Book 5, Unit 2, Section 23)
